Model-based function development and validation made easy with SIMBUS V1.0 Release

The development and validation of vehicle functions is becoming an increasingly complex endeavour with accordingly high efforts and costs. Now SIMTOOLS and EB offer an intelligent solution for costumers who have chosen a model-based approach. Using SIMBUS and Busmirror, software functions from a MATLAB/Simulink model can be easily code-generated and implemented on a dedicated real-time hardware. The execution and control of those functions can be done directly from the MATLAB/Simulink environment or in parallel with the measurement and analysis tool EB Inspector.

This solution is especially useful for engineers developing software functions e.g., signal modification, alive counter, CRCs, or some other OEM-specific algorithms in a MATLAB/Simulink environment, which must then be executed under real-time conditions in combination with other ECUs.
